Sony Xperia J Surpris update o_O

image

In what has been a surprise to me, Sony has apparently started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
update for their entry-level smartphone, the Sony Xperia J.

image

I say suprise, because their previous flagship, the Sony Xperia P,Sony Xperia S and Xperia SL,Xperia Ion have yet to officially get
the update, heh. The Xperia J gets a new firmware along with an updated kernel and the usual goodness of Jelly Bean, such as Google Now, Project butter speed
improvements and more. The update is rolling out over the next couple weeks so it might still take a
while before you see it on your device, depending on which part of the globe you live in.
Available OTA or via Sony’s PC app .
